"I love the sound of colour. Piano paintings (2023) takes up process-oriented ways of working and translates them directly into piano sounds and tones. The resulting piano pieces are meditative sound times that lead the listener from rhythm to sound and create listening spaces. They are synaesthetic works; painter´s music, action painting, intimate sessions at the piano. The resulting free improvisations are inspirational music for my own painting, which then in turn leads into painting processes. The pieces presented are uncut improvisations."
